Our Story
Pennington Gap has such great history being the name. Pennington Gap is the name of a street I used to live on. During this time in my life I inherited many youth that became my bonus children. To this day, I still have a deep passion for youth and I try to stay involved in as many schools as possible to offer services. Those services range from counseling, mentorship, daily living skills, social interaction, food and shelter, whatever the need is, I will find a way to help. Continuity of care is imperative. This is not work for me, it is simply utilization of gifts God has given to me.
Commitment
Led by subject matter experts, who initially volunteered their expertise, we deliver a range of engaging program activities. We utilize community recreation centers and public libraries as hubs for our initiatives.

At Pennington Gap, we are dedicated to offering transformative program activities for at-risk youth, providing them with the necessary support to navigate challenges and avoid adverse outcomes. Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment where young individuals can thrive and develop.
Community
Our programs are available after school, on weekends, and throughout the summer, ensuring accessibility to all. Together, we strive to empower our youth, fostering positive growth and building a brighter future for our community.
